1. Definitions

• Kindkado — the online platform available at kindkado.nl
• User — anyone who creates an account or visits the website
• Service — managing wishlists, sharing gift ideas, drawing names and related features

2. Applicability

These terms apply to all use of Kindkado. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

3. The service

Kindkado is a facilitating website and offers a free platform that lets you:

• Create wishlists and share them through a unique link
• View and save gift ideas
• Draw names for celebrations (Sinterklaas, Christmas, birthdays)
• Manage family members

Kindkado is not an online shop. We don’t sell any products ourselves and will never ask for payment details (credit card, bank account, iDEAL). We only refer you to external online shops through affiliate links.

We aim to keep the service available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or limit the service at any time.

4. Account and use

• You are at least 16 years old, or you have permission from a parent or guardian
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secret
• You use the service only for personal, non-commercial purposes
• You don’t post content that is unlawful, offensive or misleading
• You are responsible for the data you enter yourself (names, links, images)

5. Intellectual property

The website, design, texts and software of Kindkado are our property. You may use the service as intended, but you may not copy, modify or redistribute anything without permission.

Content you add yourself (wishlists, descriptions) remains yours. You give us permission to show this content within the service.

6. Affiliate links

Kindkado may contain links to external online shops (such as Amazon.nl). These are affiliate links: if you make a purchase through such a link, we may receive a small commission. This does not affect the price you pay.

Kindkado is solely a facilitating website. We are not responsible for the products, prices, deliveries, returns or service of external online shops. Any complaints about purchased products should be submitted to the shop concerned.

7. Shared lists and drawing names

When you share a wishlist, anyone with the link can view the list. You are responsible for who you share the link with.

When drawing names, you enter details of other people (name, email address, phone number). You are responsible for having their permission to enter their details. Kindkado uses this data only to carry out the draw and to send invitations.

8. Liability

Kindkado is a free service and is provided "as is". We are not liable for:

• Loss of data (keep your own backup of important information)
• Temporary unavailability of the service
• Actions of other users
• The content or availability of external websites

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in your account settings. When you do, all your data is permanently erased. We may also delete accounts in case of abuse or breach of these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. In case of important changes, we will inform you by email or through a notice on the website. The most recent version is always available on this page.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law.
